FEATURED FEATURE: Add Professionalism to Your Live Streams

Posted in

Holiday Preparation Time

It’s hard to believe we are already half way through October. This means the Holiday Season is right around the corner… Wow!!

With that little reminder, always keep in mind, we are here to help with your special-event broadcasting needs.

Perhaps it’s time for your first live stream, or some additional live streams so that more people can share and enjoy your special events.

Please let us know what we can do to assist. All consultation and support is free with sermon.net

Advent Conspiracy

Something you may want to consider is getting involved with the project at Advent Conspiracy (adventconspiracy.com).

Their goal is to get the focus back on the true significance and impact of Christmas (the gift of the Son), and not its commercialization. Their free resources will be a huge Blessing to your congregation this year.

(Sidenote: We are working on some gifts for you that may be helpful over Christmas. We will keep you posted in the coming weeks!)

ADD SOME PRODUCTION VALUE TO YOUR LIVE BROADCAST WITH OBS

This newsletter is for those that currently use OBS (Open Broadcast Software) to send us their live stream, or those that may be considering it. (If you are not live streaming yet, this may be a good time & place to get started. )

OBS has been around for a long time. There are a large variety of broadcasters using it. Primarily because it’s free, but also because it’s time tested and approved. With a lot of add-ons available.

It doesn’t have the prettiest interface, but once things are set up there’s A LOT you can do with it.

It can be as simple as pressing start & stop – that’s it. Or if you want to add some production value to your broadcast, OBS will help you with that as well!

The links below will show you how to take a step beyond just starting and stopping your camera’s video signal by adding transitions between different sources to give it a more produced and professional feel.

We hope this information helps you “up your broadcasting game.” Please keep us posted. We are here and always happy to assist.
