FEATURED FEATURE: Giving your live stream audience a “better viewing experience”
Posted in Featured Feature, sermon.net apps
When watching online church services as a family, expecting that your viewers will just gather around a computer screen or phone is unreasonable as it doesn’t allow for the image or audio to present well.
As TVs have become bigger AND less expensive, most residences have created their own personal viewing rooms, some rivaling even a movie theater experience.
For this reason, providing access to your content through a home’s entertainment system is an important option to provide your viewers feel more connected to your church and sermon.net has a great solution for you through the ROKU tv app.
Roku is available as a free app on the majority of smart TVs (and Roku is trending larger with 51 mm users as of Dec 2020-more than double their users in 2018).
Your live and on-demand content is available to everyone through the sermon.net roku app. Within Roku, simply go to the sermon.net channel and then search for (and subscribe to) your Ministry.

Additionally, Google’s Chromecast device is also available as a ‘casting’ solution for your audience.
For those who have a Chromecast device on their network, they can go to your Media Center and click on the Chromecast icon to send your live or on-demand content to their home TV.
