Streaming has become part of our everyday life. If you are just getting started in broadcasting and your budget is tight, use OBS (also known as Open Broadcaster Software).

This will allow you to stream and record if your computer is fast enough. OBS is a free open source software that will allow you to stream a live video, image, or recorded media. This software is compatible with Windows, Mac, & Linux operating systems. 

Note: To bring in a live camera you would need to have a capture card that has either an HDMI or SDI port.

Cons: 

• Graphics not as user friendly as other programs 
• Switching inputs not as smooth as it could be 
• Little to no support
