Your internet connection is obviously key to online broadcasting. It is important that you perform regular maintenance or a line test.

What is a line test?

Schedule your internet provider come out and check the signal levels for the line, at the pole and where it comes into the building. This will help ensure a solid broadcast.

Other maintenance items should include making sure your router and/or modem have the latest firmware. Occasional reboots can help keep them running smoothly. 

Also, check that all cables are in good condition and securely fastened.

If you have a lower speed internet connection, turning off public wifi will help your live stream’s performance.
