How to connect Facebook

The Basics...

• 1. Fully automated: With the Facebook fully automated option activated, you do not have to do anything further on the Facebook side. Within your Studio's > Simulcast section, simply login to the proper Facebook account once. From that point forward, any streaming through this Live Episode it will automatically go to your Facebook account.
  * We will send your title and description to Facebook as well.
  * After the live stream, Facebook will archive a recording of the broadcast.

• 2. Scheduling Events: At this time, if you want to use the scheduling features at Facebook, you can use the Custom RTMP option on the Simulcast tab within your Studio. Manually set things up at Facebook and then copy & paste the credentials into your Studio > Custom RTMP section.
  Note: Do not use the Facebook direct method if you are using a Custom RTMP to send to the same Facebook account.

Trouble Shooting:

Go into your Studio and completely remove the YouTube option in the simulcasting section (trashcan icon in lower right). Then go to YouTube in a new tab and completely logout.

Then go back into your Studio and log back into YT. This will give everything a fresh start and ensure you are connecting to the proper YT account.
