IMPORT MEDIA
HOW TO IMPORT MEDIA FROM AN EXTERNAL LOCATION OR SERVICE.
If you are looking to import a large amount of media into your Studio from an existing solution... this may help!
RSS/PODCAST FEED IMPORT
If you have a feed with another provider, you can use it to copy/import your media into your Sermon Studio. This removes the need to manually create and upload one Episode at a time.
- Within your Studio, go to the Playlist page. Select the Playlist you would like to import the feed/media to, or create a new one.
- Scroll down to the Import Media section. Paste your RSS/Podcast feed’s ULR into the space provided (make sure it includes http://).
- Press the Begin Import button. It will then confirm the number of Episodes it will be importing - click OK to continue.
The process will take time as the system ingests and transcodes each file. A unique Episode will be created for each item as it adds to your Studio Archive.
note: You do not need to wait for this process to complete. Once you start the process you can leave and let the system do its thing.
CSV IMPORT
You can create a spreadsheet that includes your sermon’s information (title, date, description, speaker, etc…) as well as a direct URL/link to the media file’s location. This removes the need to manually create and upload one Episode at a time.
- Within your Studio, go to the Playlist page. Select the Playlist you would like to import the media to, or create a new one.
- Click on Import Media. Download the CSV template file and fill it in with your information & links.
- Upload your File within the Import section
- Press the Begin Import button. It will then confirm the number of Episodes it will be importing - click OK to continue. The process will take time as the system ingests and transcodes each file. A unique Episode will be created for each item as it adds to your Studio Archive.
note: You do not need to wait for this process to complete. Once you start the process you can leave and let the system do its things.
